So we drove home from Lubbock yesterday. Jake's was great. Lots of people, good response, great bands... The Octopus Project killed it. On their last song they had everyone get onstage with them and dance. It was amazing. We get to see them again today at Wall of Sound. We've been reading lots of the UFO Encyclopedia in the van. Best four dollars I've ever spent at a bookstore. Okay, maybe not... But at least the most entertaining. Also, on the way home we thought we saw a dead mountain lion on the side of the road. So we went back to check it out and it turned out to be a deer with its antlers cut off. Some redneck out there is bragging to his buddies about shooting a deer that he actually found on the side of the highway.
