the german & the texan in columbus

matthias and i left for columbus after lunch yesterday and spent the night with tawd bell...

we walked haku (the bell's australian sheep dog) around high street and the o.s.u. campus. we checked out evolved, the piercing/tattoo shop tawd will be apprenticing in. we ate some awesome pizza at hound dogs. we hung out with some of the landing place crew at the shi-sha, a cool hookah bar/coffee shop/hang-out lounge. then tawd, the german, and i went to a late showing of fahrenheit 9/11. pretty compelling.

this morning we had buckeye donuts (i burnt my tongue on the coffee - sheesh), stopped by 64 king to hang out for about 20 minutes, and walked around downtown for about another 20 minutes so matthias could take some photos of the buildings and stuff. it was a great time.

here's an unrelated quote for the day:
"Do not be one of those who, rather than risk failure, never attempts anything"
-Thomas Merton, New Seeds of Contemplation
