it's been a while...

christmas and new years were good. skiing was good. family and friends are good. being home was good. God has blessed my life beyond reason. thanks.

what would you do if you knew without a doubt that the world was going to end in 2 years? what would i do? why don't we live our lives like that? most of us are just bored and settled. why? i think we're afraid to fail. at least, i think i am. one thing that seems to be surfacing a lot this christmas break is this: now is the time. "seize the day," if you will, ala dead poets society. if we don't do what we're passionate about now, when will we ever do it? go out and fail if that's what it takes. take risks, suffer, live life, fall down, and get back up.

i want this. it is my prayer.
