Biology of Belief

I'm almost finished with one of the most mind-blowing books I've ever read. It's called Why God Won't Go Away and it's about the science of what goes on in our brains as related to myth, ritual, and spiritual experience. It's challenging and offers no black and white answers as to what it all means but I would highly recommend it if you're curious about the mind as it relates to spirituality. Check it out here.

Need to finish Dune as well so I can watch the movie. Depending on how it ends I may or may not read the entire trilogy but so far so good.

Trying to read more and watch less television lately. Remembering that prayer is important.

Ryan,

Looks to be a good read. I will check it out. How are the new tunes going? Also, Menomena, Thursday night at Granada, you should come out.

hehe, i remember arrakis.

definitely read dune messiah and children of dune. god emperor of dune starts to get weird, and i left the series after that.

the sci fi channel "dune" was pretty decent (shitty effects), and sci fi channel's "children of dune" (really the 2nd two books wrapped into one miniseries) was in my opinion a lot better.
