Bluebird and New Records

Got back from Bluebird Ranch last night. Jacob, Nathan, and I went out to relax and see the Griffiths. Horseback riding, gun shooting, and Mexican food (Mercado's). Good weekend. Now I'm just sitting at the computer adding a few new records to my iTunes collection:

Citizen Cope - Every Waking Moment
I really can't explain it. It's just great. Take everything good from Ben Harper, Matisyahu, and Matt Kearney and you're somewhere near it.

Viva Voce - Get Yr Blood Sucked Out
Been around for a while, new record on Barsuk. Husband and wife - "fuzzed-out psych, eminently infectious melody, hand-clap breakdowns, and star-shine vocal harmonizing."

Joseph Arthur - Nuclear Daydream
I cannot wait to see him at Gypsy this month. Perhaps the most looked-forward-to show show of the band. We are all very excited. "Automatic Situation" and "Don't Tell Your Eyes" are amazing.
