Nate, Alex and I decided to make a two-day trip down to Austin. Last night we went to a gallery opening for some of the artists involved in the movie A Scanner Darkly, which I recommend seeing. Free food and drinks, and great conversation. DJ Va-Jay-Jay (AKA - Adam Asher) threw it down and much fun was had.
On to Magnolia afterwards where I enjoyed some amazing migas and payed way too much for a quarter of avocado. Who knew it came at such a high premium here in Austin. Right now we're watching Elizabeth waiting on Adam to get here so we can go hunt down some food.
I've been working on a few new Lassitude songs and there is talk of recording a split with Chaney Chaney Bang Bang in the near future. Stellamaris is playing next weekend at Gypsy Tea Room. Come see us!
