Okay, so no ropes were involved but today I helped William and John round up 20-30 goats at the Griffith farm. They needed vaccines and de-wormer. I found myself understanding why people breed fainting goats. Sure would be a lot easier to grab. I also found myself thinking about what it might be like to be God. Trying to show these little creatures what's best for them and what they really need and them freaking out, almost incapable of understanding that we're out for their own good. Goats don't like to be grabbed by the horns, force-fed dewormer, and jabbed in the neck with syringes. They only like you if you have food.
I finally jumped on the Da Vinci Code bandwagon. Pretty good so far. I also watched this deal on Discovery last night called The Real Da Vinci Code. This journalist who has been fascinated with the Holy Grail story travels the world looking into all the Da Vinci Code ideas. Really fascinating. Okay, I need to read more if I'm going to finish before the movie comes out this weekend...
