most of my friends have completely abandoned blogger for xangas or myspaces. and while i do have a myspace, i refuse to get a xanga. it pisses me off that i can't comment on someone's without having a xanga myself. there are already too many online extensions of myself. i don't want another one just so i can leave comments for friends.

my morning jacket is my new favorite band. thanks to a cd from a friend, i've found them to be amazing and plan on seeing them when they come through dallas in november. cannot wait.

i'm home from tour with nothing to do. i will probably do a bit of house painting next week. just a small job but it pays. i really don't want to substitute but it may come to that soon.
