not bad for a monday night

last night was a great show. crystal skulls & headphones at dan's silverleaf in denton. nathan, alex, kate, and i drove up and met pearce for the evening. if you haven't heard crystal skulls you should check them out. very fun. and the lead singer told this really funny story last night about getting whipped with his own belt by some crazy girl in austin. oh yeah, and david bazan was talking about how texas should go for statehood, saying aren't we a territory or something like that. i couldn't tell if he was serious or being sarcastic or what.

if all goes well, we get the van today. hopefully lots of productive band stuff will happen today. the van, promo photos, new gear... we'll be practing our tails off for the show this coming saturday. and be prepared. secret cover song...
