God's politics

tonight i went to book people to hear jim wallis speak and sign his new book. though i haven't read much of his stuff yet i saw him on the daily show sunday night at mosaic and decided to hear him in person tonight. this man is standing up as a prophetic voice of reason, compassion, and faith in the divisve world of politics, economics, and social issues. i recommend checking out sojourners, which is the organization he spearheads. especially if you think the term "moral values" applies only to abortion and gay marriage.
