day one

hey everyone! well, i just had my first day of student teaching. it was basically a staff development day so no kids until tomorrow. my mentor is a 6th grade world cultures teacher who is really funny and outgoing. i'll be real busy but i'm thankful; it seems like the entire social studies department and everyone i met are really fun and down-to-earth. and thanks to my relatives, mike and susan kelly, i pretty much have my own little apartment for the time being. no complaints here.
