safely home. not really any tanner. maybe a few pounds fatter from all the food and lounging. it was really lots of fun. yet now a chapter begins to close and a new one is right around the corner. a week from tomorrow (on january 3rd) i will be starting my teaching practicum at martin middle school in austin, texas. my mentor teacher will be joe moore. he teaches 6th grade social studies, which is focused on world history and culture. this is most ideal. thanks be to God. however, i still haven't heard from my family in austin about a place to stay so if you could please say a prayer about that for me i would appreciate it a heck of a lot. i really need a cheap living situation. i hope you all had a merry christmas and that 2005 brings you more than you could hope for. peace...
p.s. - go to eisley's website. they have some new songs up!

i'm glad you had a good trip and made it back safely. exciting days ahead for you... if your sixth grade classroom ends up being even half as insane as the fifth grade class I'm working with, you would do well to continue resting up with every minute you have between now and then! i can't wait to hear about all of your experiences. a new adventure!
