return of the texan

well, here i am blogging from my hometown here in the great state. it hasn't really hit me yet that i live here again. i got my sister's old room for the months that i will be at home before heading to austin for student teaching. saw lots of friends from restoration tonight...that was really good. i've missed them.

logan and i spent friday night at mammoth cave national park camping with chris lent. it was fun but the cave was a bit of a let-down. sure it's 365 miles long, but it's nowhere near as scenic and spacious as carlsbad. and we had a not-so-funny excessive-hand-gesturing tour guide by the name of taylor. "a" for effort taylor my man.

saturday night we spent the night at my aunt anita's place in missouri. she made us roast and carrots and potatos and we watched man on fire on her big-screen t.v. then she made us breakfast burritos before we left this morning.

now it is sunday night and i will be going to bed sooner or later. tomorrow i'll probably hang out with nate. yayuh.
