- rappelling down a 200 ft. free fall called "frog's head." it was amazing. hanging in the middle of the gorge that far from the ground. don't worry mom and dad, tim had me on belay.
- laughing our butts off out of exhaustion and late night delirium/thirst.
- listening to the symphony of insects outside the tent as i fell asleep.
- crawling out of our tent sunday morning, drinking coffee, and watching the sun come up over the gorge. we camped on top of one of the large rock faces and it was amazing.
- driving back through the gorge listening to switchfoot's "meant to live," swigging a dr. pepper, and realizing 3 buffalo were running alongside us in the field across the road. they were someone's livestock, but to see live buffalo running through a field that close was great.
friday night, before i left the next day, we watched magnolia at steve and sarah's recommendation. it was amazing and if you haven't seen it yet, it should be the next thing you rent.
okay, i need a shower...
