who is vygotsky, you ask?

this was taken from funderstanding.com:

"Internalization refers to the process of learning--and thereby internalizing--a rich body of knowledge and tools of thought that first exist outside the child. This happens primarily through language."

i'm reading this stuff for my teacher course work and it's proving to be really insightful in relation to some internal dialogue i've been having about how God communicates. also reading dallas willard's Hearing God, which is amazing so far. i can't really articulate much now, but hopefully in time... more later.
