stuff to blog about, stuff to blog about...

i just finished the great divorce by c.s. lewis last night at the recommendation of cat wayne and thanks to my sister who bought it for me a long time ago. i highly recommend it to all. you could read it in a day if you wanted to. trying to finish hiroshima... it's not exactly inspiring. eye-opening though. just picked up chuck palahniuk's new book diary from the library. he wrote fight club.

friday and saturday i have the joy of going with over the rhine to do merch for a couple shows in pennsylvania. one in pittsburgh and one at the purple door festival. this is quite the dream job...hanging out in cool clubs/bars, listening to good music, selling good music, meeting cool and/or strange people, and travelling. it just don't get much better.

what else, what else...

the plan as of now is to head back to texas toward the end of october, God willing. online coursework is going well, so that's good...

couple cool shows coming up. brent (a previous intern who lives in indy) is hosting a house show for jason harrod october 9th. the guy of harrod & funck fame. he is great. before that one of the best bands in the whole world is playing late september on a friday night here, and then on a saturday night in columbus... questions in dialect! yes! yes! yes!

okay well...i gotta go to the bathroom. later...
