yesterday...
the morning was full of shoveling dirt and gravel to make some progress on enlarging our driveway. we screwed up and dug too deep, giving us the humbling task of taking the wheel barrow back to the moved dirt, shoveling it back in, and hauling it back to the ditch in the parking lot. sheesh. somehow though, we got it level and filled with enough gravel (for the time being) to leave at around 2 or so to disc golf while many women filled the convent in celebration of the coming havens child.
kenny, matthias, and i went to taylor mill, kentucky and played on the most enjoyable 18 hole course i've ever played on...pride park. though it wasn't a pdga manicured course, it was greatness. green grass, huge hills and valleys, and a creek running through the middle of it complete with a wooden bridge. one of the holes was named after a guy named "chainsaw." yes! it ruled. on the last hole i thought i lost my frisbee and as i scouted for it, i stumbled upon a treasure! an old rusty machete! this was either some long forgotten trail-cutting tool, or a murder weapon. either way i took it. cause old rusty machetes are just cool.
then some of us went to dewey's pizza, mmm... and watched the ben stiller movie, duplex at the brown house. good day, good day.
