well, back from the abbey...strange to go from such quiet just right back into normal life. the weirdest thing that happened was i was in the lunch line and noticed several guys wearing "hip" and "cool" clothes with "stylish" haircuts and such. guess who... chris tomlin and his band are just hanging out at the abbey of gethsemani. what?! it was strange. they were only there for like half a day, but it was still weird to see "passion" guys chillin at a monastery.

anyway, it was a good experience...lots of time for prayer, meditation, hiking, and just relaxing. kentucky's really pretty. the only bummer was i thought i took all these sweet photos of some really cool statues and nature shots but dumbhead that i am...there was no film in my camera. dur.... i'm sure cat will put some on her fotopage though.
