we bear the image of Deity yet we are fallen. the psalmist says none seek God and says God has not forsaken those who seek him. God made men upright, but they have sought out "many devices." (ecc. 7:29) who are we? did adam and eve cause us to inherit sin, or death? have we all fallen in our own personal gardens? was i born into sin or did i fall into it? am i a mixture of the Divine image and a sinful distortion of that image?
