hi friends...well, nathan and cat and i went to this acoustic open mike thing at the liquid lounge here in deep ellum. neither of us played but we want to next time. anyways, we heard 3 guys there from a new band here in dallas called "pherigo." they were real nice and gave us a free 6 song cd that is also swell. it's not often you get a free cd that you don't laugh at and then throw away at the nearest trash receptacle (i.e. - tek 9). i don't like comparisons, especially because i think these guys stand well on their own, but i would recommend them if you like switchfoot and/or coldplay as a point of reference. i've linked their website if you care to check them out. you could probably write them if you're interested in getting your hands on a cd. anyways, i also played the arcade classic last night...galaga. and gues whose initials are the #1 high score? that's right...rph.
