this morning we had breakfast and prayers together. then we put together some ikea furniture. we put together a bed which i will sleep on tonight. it's nice. all of this before 10 am. i'm used to starting my day around then. it feels good to go to bed early, wake up early, and accomplish things.

speaking of waking up, dave wanted me to read a couple of chapters in a few books and one of them is called "In the Spirit of Happiness: The Monks of New Skete." i found this quote which i thought would fit well in my blog...

"At last the Seeker replied, 'I've learned that the whole world's asleep - myself included.' Father raised his eyebrows and rubbed his bearded chin...finally he offered his own thoughts. 'It's the same for all of us. The real question is how serious are you about waking up.'"
