oh boy! i saw nickel creek last night and it was freaking amazing. (also present: nathan, jon-paul, matt & sally doherty, jason judy, and emily & mrs. harrison) right up there next to seeing sigur ros or u2 live. no exageration. they did good old stuff, good new stuff, just good all around. "the lighthouse" was their last song before the 1st encore. they absolutely went off! and chris thile (manodlin & vocals) started singing the chorus to "yellow" by coldplay!!!!! i'm serious. i almost peed my pants with joy. at the end they completely unplugged and closed with "be thou my vision," a perfect ending. i think music is one of God's best creations...
