sheesh! the crowd gets restless! the reason i have not posted in a long while is because i was only in the office once this week. and as high-tech as my trailer is, we don't have internet access (gasp). but you know what they say: excuses are like armpits (or poops), everyone has them and they all stink. sooooooo...

what's new? mavs disappointment last night. i was looking forward to a 4 game sweep. alas! oh well, we'll beat them at home.

has anyone seen "a mighty wind?" the new christopher guest film? if not, i highly recommend it. it's about a folk musician reunion and it is quite hilarious. if you can't see it yet (because cool things are often delayed in getting to lubbock-don't get mad, you know it's true) i suggest renting "waiting for guffman." you will laugh.

thrift store exploits: earlier this week i found some cool stuff. a kids xylophone for 99 cents. it's missing some notes and mallets or whatever, but it is still cool. also, i found switchfoot's "new way to be human" for 3 bucks. you cannot go wrong with that. it was a happy thrifty day.

also, i just passed the 300 page mark in "fellowship of the ring." wee!

okay, that's all for now...
