sheesh! i haven't posted in a long time! i don't have much to talk about but i could tell you all a little bit of what trailor life is like...
for those of you who don't know, i live in the woods of cedar hill in a trailor on a plot of land that is shared by us and a family in a house. sound weird? it gets weirder. these people have two dogs and the trailor is situated so that our front yard is their back yard, which happens to be inhabited by one of the meanest little mongrels in the world. her name is oreo, but she is not sweet. i hate her. there are few things in life i hate, but oreo would be one of them. so would bandit. she is the dog that roams the land. sorry flea-bag.
okay so these dogs want nothing but my and nathan's death. as we would love nothing more than their demise. they do not hesitate to run after us, bite us, and bark incessantly when they see us. and when any of the radfords (our neighboring family) is outside, it only gets worse. we become a "threat" to the family and the dogs turn psycho-rabid.
the other day i came outside to get something out of my car and bandit proceeded to growl and bark and come towards me. this is when i pick up a small rock. she has learned that rocks are not her friend but she wouldn't shut up or go away so i lightly threw it at her. it bounced twice and popped her in the nose. success! she retreated into the front yard. maybe she'll think twice now when she sees me pick up a rock.
before you start calling me a dog-hater or running to p.e.t.a. claiming cruelty to animals, come visit my trailor. see how you like them.
this has been "slices of trailor life." until next time...
